What is Global Compact Agreement?

Starting in year 2000, the United Nations Global Compact initiative, the United Nations regional offices, working groups, civil society organizations and governments bring the business community together in order to cover the relevant fields concerning the human rights, labor standards, environment and corruption as regard of ten universal principles with the aim of promoting. The Global Compact Initiative (GCI) with the power of joint action is aiming to launch applications of United Nations to promote these ten principles at business circles all over the world. This action, more than 3.000 Participants Company from over 100 countries is the world's largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative.
