KEY SWITCH RK 29 A

The RK29-A is a momentary-action pushbutton switch designed for controlling low-current signal and control circuits in home appliances and industrial equipment.

The RK29-A is a momentary (spring-return) pushbutton switch with a panel mounting size of 8.5 x 28 mm. The contact changes position as long as the button is pressed; when the pressure is released, it returns to its initial position due to spring force. Thanks to its NO-NC configuration, both normally open and normally closed circuit configurations can be implemented with the same product. Its narrow and elongated body design facilitates installation in spaces with limited mounting volume.

Rated at 0.25 (0.1) A at 250 V, the RK29-A switches 0.25 A for resistive loads and 0.1 A for inductive loads; these values make the product suitable for signal and control circuits rather than power lines. With a 50,000-cycle lifespan and T55 temperature class, it is designed for use in frequently controlled applications. Connection is provided via a tab terminal measuring 4.8 x 0.80 mm or 2.8 x 0.50 mm, depending on the application.

The product is designed and tested in accordance with the requirements of the EN 61058-1 standard, which covers switches used in household and similar devices. A service life of 50,000 cycles defines the switch’s mechanical and electrical endurance against repeated actuation; the T55 class defines its ability to operate at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C.
